Contrary to popular belief, I am not dead

Just knackered. The interview I mentioned a couple of weeks ago turned into a job that I started on monday, and it is pretty excellent. I'm working for the student services at the local university doing student support in lectures and seminars, which is stuff like taking notes for students, or mentoring them, and desperately trying not to give them bad advice (I was not a great student, especially not in my first year... if there was a shortcut, I took it).
This week has been a little bit scary, what with it being welcome week (not freshers week anymore, apparently it's offensive) and everything being a bit crazy, but hopefully it will settle down next week, at some point I will get my staff card, and then all will be peachy.

Other than that, err, life is pretty dull really. The dog went home last weekend, I rocked at LARP (even though I forgot my green hair spray) and my plan to gut the spare room got distracted by job so it looks like a bomb hit it.
And my skin is playing up again.

The weather is shit, and apparently there is LARP (it had been originally a tabletop session, but now we're supposed to be LARPing, but if ther weather continues like this, I will be dubious).

And now I shall return to the filling in of forms, dump them in the post and then mooch over to the boyfriend for the weekend. Rumour has it there will be a roast dinner.
