We have a partially finished basement that is totally unheated (it's technically a 3 flat with the basement being a low-ceilinged unit, but it's actually used as storage) and we're on the first floor, so our floors are FREEZING in the winter. Even if it's in the 40s or 50s outside. I hate having things on my feet, but I'm wearing wooly socks right now and considering putting slippers on over them, that's how cold my feet are. Urgh.
